The Lyn Dress takes inspiration from the elegance of oversized dressing and the beauty of ease of movement and the drape of the fabric. The soft funnel neck references the necklines of fishermans smocks but made feminine. An abundance of fabric in both the batwing sleeves and loose gathered skirt make for a beautiful, easy to wear piece with soft dart detailing, sleeve and bodice panelling and hidden pockets.

The dress is designed to be worn oversized and dramatic. Smaller or more petite frames should size down, where permitted.

Light and billowy for daily Spring to Summer dressing, it also has enough polish and sophistication to wear to events and special occasions. Made in both French Navy and Cinnamon Linen.

The linen has a beautiful and slightly irregular texture that is very pleasing and characteristic of this loved fabric.

• 100% European Linen.

• A mixture of turned, but mainly overlocked seams.

• Measurements are taken flat and should be doubled where necessary for the full circumference. 

• The is a very voluminous, oversized style. If you are more petite in height/shoulder you have the option to size down where possible.  

• Please note all measurements are approx and there may be a small tolerance as each garment is handmade.

Linen & Care

Your garment is made from 100% linen. Linen by nature is sustainable fabric. It comes from flax, a plant from which every part is utilised. The processing uses a lot less water than cotton.

The linen crop for your garment is harvested, processed and woven in Eastern Europe.

Linen is a really durable fabric and is a natural insulator, keeping you warm in Winter and cool in Summer. 

We recommend that you wash your garment by hand or in the machine at 30 degrees using a non-bio washing powder or liquid. 

Do not tumble dry. Please dry naturally, leaving flat. 

If you want a crisp feel, then iron on a medium to high heat, or wear crinkled for a more relaxed look. 

Linen will stiffen after each wash, but will soften once in use. 

Do not bleach.
