Description
We recommend using ‘Guppyfriend’ when washing your synthetic mix clothing. It captures the tiny plastic fibres shed by synthetic cloth that pollute our oceans, but also reduces the breakage of these micro fibres, extending the life of your clothes.
M.Hulot clothing is made from predominantly natural materials. As we use ‘deadstock’ fabrics we occasionally find a material that is a mix of natural and synthetic.
If you are already buying ‘slowmade’, small batch production then we know that your garments will play an important part in your wardrobe, you’ll be wearing them lots and taking good care of them.
Directions

Put your synthetic clothing in the Guppyfriend, filling no more than 2/3rds of the bag to allow for the garments to move freely without restriction.

Add to the machine, and don’t forget you can add non-synthetic clothing to the load so that you are doing a full wash and not wasting space.

Take the synthetic clothing from the bag while still wet and look for the collected fibres in the corners of the bag.

Dispose of the fibres in your usual bin.
